Tertulia lives in a restored 1700s hamlet (Podere Il Monte) just above Vicchio, run by SocietΓ Agricola Il Monte. It grew out of a collaboration between Francesco, who left Milan in 2005 to restore the land using permaculture, and Anja, who founded AGAIA Coliving. The project is built around three pillars we keep returning to: community, nature, and positive impact.
We're a small farm community of digital nomads, creatives, and people in a transformative chapter of life, gathered in a restored 1700s hamlet in the Tuscan hills. We cook and share dinners together in the Con-Vivio kitchen, the true heart of our home, and gather for cinema nights, yoga on the deck, and weekly farming tasks on the land. Meaningful conversation matters a lot to us, and so does hands-on stewardship through our permaculture and agroforestry work. Whether we're hiking the forest, swimming in the pond, or simply sharing a meal, life here feels grounded and unhurried.
We work from two dedicated coworking rooms that stay open 24/7, each fitted with proper workstations, plus a private call room for confidential calls. When the weather is good, many of us decamp to the pergola or the forest terrace, where standing desks look out over centuries-old chestnut trees. Our Starlink connection with 5G backup runs on a business-grade mesh network averaging around 200 Mbps down, so video calls hold up even out here. The multifunctional barn with its projector also doubles as a space for workshops and bigger sessions.
We're a small coliving and coworking community set on a working farm in the Mugello valley, about an hour from Florence by train. We share a communal kitchen, two coworking rooms with Starlink internet, and a barn for film nights, and we gather for shared dinners, Sunday yoga, and weekly farm tasks. There are around 12 spots across private rooms and shared bedrooms, with woods and meadows right outside the door.
